Our Young Artists program keeps the students entertained and motivated with our upbeat staff, all while producing amazing artwork! The classes are designed to increase the students’ drawing and seeing skills. Each week students will create projects using different mediums such as oil pastel, marker, and watercolor! The age 4- Kindergarten class works on their art for the first hour followed by snack and story time! The class ends with a daily game of “I spy something great” in each students project. 1st-2nd grade students will take 1-2 weeks to complete each project.

Each project has been designed to increase the students’ drawing and “seeing” skills and familiarize them with different mediums such as pen, pastel, watercolor, colored pencil, and marker. Students always work from life, photos, or prints and have easy access to dozens of books and files loaded with pictures of everything imaginable.

jam

The Japanese/American Animation program focuses solely on drawing animation scenes and characters. JAM students have access to hundreds of characters from Marvel, DC, Disney, Hanna-Barbera, Manga, and video game characters. Jammers (as we affectionately call them) will learn the techniques of illustrators and graphic designers using various mediums. The “exactness” of graphic art is the challenge. The artwork that comes out of our JAM studio is truly remarkable!
